A Glimpse Beyond: The Unexpected Intuitive World of Children with Epilepsy
Not long ago, I turned to a Facebook group for parents of children with epilepsy to share an extraordinary occurrence—my son's recent demonstrations of what can only be described as psychic intuition. In a lighthearted post, I recounted how he had predicted a flood near his school, guessed the winning ticket at a school event, and even claimed to see people who were no longer with us. It was meant as a moment of shared curiosity, a chance to hear from others who might have had similar experiences.
The response was nothing short of overwhelming. Parents from all walks of life began sharing their stories, unveiling a tapestry of experiences that suggested our children might be accessing a level of intuition far beyond the norm. From premonitions to encounters with the unseen, the stories poured in, each more compelling than the last.
In this post, I'm honored to share these responses, offering a glimpse into the profound and often unspoken psychic connections that many children with epilepsy seem to possess. As you read through these shared experiences, you may begin to wonder—as I have—if there's a hidden depth to the condition, a silver lining that brings with it a touch of the extraordinary.
